STORIES, MUSIC, AND IMAGERY BOOKS
Linda created an innovative process for working with children by combining her original stories with music and imagery. Children listen to an original story, relax, and discover what the story means to them during a piece of beautiful classical music. They are encouraged to express themselves creatively through drawing, writing, or verbally sharing their experience.
Each book includes 20 original stories, 20 pieces of classical music, and a guide for adults on how to use the Stories, Music and Imagery process. These books bring together the power of the story, benefits of relaxation, clarity of focused attention, beauty of music, wisdom of the child, and support from the adult.
Stories, Music, and Imagery: A Doorway to a Child’s Self-Esteem is the first book in the series and was written for the children I taught in the Atlanta Public Schools. The focus of this book is growing a sense of self-worth.
Character Education through Stories, Music, and Imagery is the second book in the series and was written for children I taught in North Carolina. The focus of this book is growing heart qualities.
